Vince Redd LB Liberty #4

Ht: 6'6
Wt: 263

Strengths:
Elite size. A tremendous natural athlete for his size. Well above average speed for a man of his stature. Played outside linebacker in the 3-4 defense at Liberty.
Weaknesses:
Limited experience against top competition; primarily came off the bench in his two years at Virginia. Wasn't as productive at Liberty as he should have been; only one sack his senior year. Very disappointing performance in the bench; only put up 13 reps at his pro day.
Comments:
Redd is a difficult player to figure out. With his size and strength he should have dominated at his level of competition as a senior. To be fair, it was his only year playing at Liberty and perhaps he needed more time to grow into the system. He transferred from Virginia after his sophomore year. Physically, Redd has a ton of upside, but he has yet to prove on the field that he can put his size and strength to use. He looks like a decent developmental prospect as a late round pick.
