Strengths:
A tough player that plays hard. Generates an impressive bull rush for his size. Disengages from blocks quickly and can get to the ball carrier.
Weaknesses:
Doesn't excel in any one area. Lacks ideal speed. Doesn't have ideal size and strength. A one dimensional lineman; won't generate many sacks. Too slow and not a good enough athlete to make the move to linebacker.
Comments:
Gilberry was a good college player that doesn't bring much to the table at the next level. He could provide some depth if needed, but he doesn't have much upside won't amount to anything more than a backup.
