Xavier Adibi LB Virginia Tech #11

Ht: 6'2
Wt: 232

Strengths:
A tremendous natural athlete. Excels in coverage and shows good ball skills. Great in pursuit. The type of player that is always around the ball. Broke out with a huge senior campaign.
Weaknesses:
Undersized. Lacks ideal strength. Doesn't have the size or strength to shed blocks. Had surgery to repair a torn biceps in 2003. Was hampered by a shoulder injury in 2006, but missed minimal time. Not nearly as effective against the run as in coverage. Speed is average at best.
Comments:
Adibi was a productive college linebacker that NFL skills in certain areas, but the lack of size is a major drawback. Its enough of a concern for certain teams to drop him far down their draft board because he simply doesn't fit into their scheme. All things considered, its a wonder he was so productive because he just doesn't test well. However, you can't ignore his production. He's still a legitimate second round, but he'll need to land in the right system to find success.
