Cecil Newton C Tennessee State #64

Ht: 6'2
Wt: 294

Strengths:
A dominant four-year starter. A good athlete for an offensive lineman. Above average quickness. Shows good footwork. Has the speed to get to the second level.
Weaknesses:
Slightly undersized. Hasn't faced elite competition.
Comments:
Father, Cecil, played for the Cowboys. Brother, Cam, was a backup quarterback at Florida before being kicked off the team in November. It can be tough to project how small-school offensive linemen will transition to the NFL because they have never faced players with elite size and strength. Newton's lack of size hurts, but he has the technique and the quickness to justify a late round selection.
