Donald Washington CB Ohio State #20

Ht: 6'0
Wt: 197

Strengths:
Adequate size. A three-year starter on one of the top defensive units in the country. A very good natural athlete. Plays faster than his timed speed indicates.
Weaknesses:
Made the poor decision to leave after his junior year. Below average ball skills. Does a poor job tracking the ball; reacts to receivers more than he reacts to the ball. Suspended for two games in 2008 for a violation of team rules. Below average tackling ability.
Comments:
Washington has the natural ability of an NFL cornerback but his career at Ohio State was a bit of a disappointment. He's worth a shot in the mid-to-late rounds, but he's definitely a boom-or-bust prospect. He's a similar prospect to former Buckeye Ashton Youboty who has struggled to live up to his potential in the NFL.
