Eric Wood C Louisville #77

Ht: 6'4
Wt: 304

Strengths:
Ideal size and strength. A four-year starter at center. Strong legs that allow him to dominate as a run blocker. Good technique in both run and pass blocking. Shows great awareness on the field; rarely caught off guard or out of position.
Weaknesses:
Lacks the quickness and agility to be an elite prospect. Doesn't have the speed to make plays down the field. Very consistent, but doesn't always put forth that extra effort to finish off his blocks.
Comments:
Wood is one of five centers in this draft class that have the potential to start from day one. His experience is a definite bonus but his lack of athleticism will cause some teams to shy away. He should be a mid-round pick, potentially even sneaking into the late second round.
