Excellent size. Very well built. A good natural athlete. Reliable tackler. Flashes the ability to make the big hit. Decent ball skills.
Weaknesses:
A career underachiever. Missed most of 2007 with a broken shoulder blade. Arrested and suspended for disorderly conduct in 2007 (setting off homemade explosives).
Comments:
McClinton has all the physical tools to be a 3rd or 4th round pick, but his production has never reached that level. He's worth a shot in the 7th round or as a free agent on the off chance that he finally figures it out, but don't hold your breath.
