Rodney Landers RB James Madison #7

Ht: 6'0
Wt: 220

Strengths:
Elite athleticism. Excellent size/speed combination. A big play threat running the football. Great agility; consistently makes defenders miss.
Weaknesses:
Played quarterback at James Madison, but will be asked to switch positions in the pros to either running back or safety. Speed is well above average for a quarterback, but nothing special for a running back. Hasn't faced top competition. Suffered an ankle injury in his final collegiate game.
Comments:
Landers is obviously a hit-or-miss prospect because he will be changing positions but he has plenty of upside. He was a dominant college quarterback at James Madison, but it would be a tough sell to select him before the 7th round. There are simply far more questions than answers at this point in his career. However, if given time to develop he could turn into a significant contributor in the NFL.
