| Strengths: |
| Ideal height for the position. Adequate
agility and athleticism; has the ability to move around in the pocket and buy
some time with his feet. Very patient; stands tall in the pocket and keeps his
eyes downfield even as the pocket closes in around him. Decent accuracy on short
throws. |

| Arm strength is disappointing
considering his size. Accuracy is erratic on deeper throws. Tends to lock onto
a receiver; doesn't do a good job of going through his progressions. Had a relatively
disappointing senior year; failed to take the next step to elevate his draft stock. |

| Brandstater has the
physical tools to be an adequate quarterback in the NFL. He is still fairly raw,
but would be a good investment in the mid-rounds to develop. He may never be more
than a spot-starter in the pros, but there is definitely a place for him on an
NFL roster. |
