Dan LeFevour QB Central Michigan #13

Ht: 6'3
Wt: 229

Strengths:
An elite athlete. Excellent mobility. Has the ability to keep plays alive with his feet. Adequate height; good overall size. Very accurate on short passes. Solid mechanics. Maintains accuracy when throwing on the run. Highly productive four-year starter.
Weaknesses:
Played almost exclusively in the shotgun. Played in a spread offense which relied on short passes and rarely required him to throw the ball down field. Arm strength is nothing special. Missed one game in 2008 with an ankle injury.
Comments:
LeFevour is one of the most productive quarterbacks in college football history from a statistical standpoint. He has the skills to play in the NFL, but it could be a difficult transition. He is definitely a developmental prospect that would benefit from two or three years on the bench. He needs to adjust, not only to a significant jump in talent level, but also a new offensive scheme. He shouldn't come off the board before the 3rd round, but could be a very attractive option if he falls into the 4th.
