Jonathan Crompton QB Tennessee

Ht: 6'3
Wt: 222

Strengths:
Adequate height. Impressive size and strength. Good arm strength. Ended his senior year on a high note. Experienced against top competition. Mobilty is decent for his size.
Weaknesses:
Was terrible throughout all of 2008 and early in 2009. Decision making is below average; seems to simply lack the smarts to play quarterback at the next level.
Comments:
Crompton is an incredibly difficult prospect to judge. As of early October, 2009 he wasn't even on the radar screen for NFL teams - he had be one of the worst quarterbacks in Tennessee history. And then suddenly something clicked. Down the stretch he looked like a legitimate NFL prospect. His late season performance, coupled with his size and arm strength now has some excited about his future. Given the fact that he didn't look like he should even be starting at the D-I level until the last half of his senior year, I wouldn't touch him before the 6th round.
