2007 NFL Draft:
32. Anthony Gonzalez WR Ohio State
42. Tony Ugoh OT Arkansas
95. Daymeion Hughes CB California
98. Quinn Pitcock DT Ohio State
131. Brannon Condren S Troy
136. Clint Sessions OLB Pittsburgh
169. Roy Hall WR Ohio State
173. Michael Coe CB Alabama State
242. Keyunta Dawson DE Texas Tech

2007 Analysis:
This was sort of an up and down draft for the Colts. I think Gonzalez is an excellent first round selection. He's somewhat overrated, because he will never be a number one receiver, but he's as reliable as they come and he should fill in nicely for the departed Brandon Stokley. Tony Ugoh is a potential starting left tackle in this league, but he is a bit of a project and Tarik Glenn should have the Colts left tackle job locked up for at least another three years. Daymeion Hughes and Quinn Pitcock both had great value in the late third round. After tremendously productive senior years they both fell down the boards because their measurables don't stack up well when compared to other elite prospects. When you look just at performances on the field however, those two guys are right near the top of this draft class. The reached a little for Brannon Condren, but he was a guy who shot up the draft boards late and they certainly needed to add depth at safety. The also reached for Clint Sessions, a guy that I didn't really expect to get drafted. I love their selection of Roy Hall. If he can stay healthy he is an elite receiver and I could see him being a dominant red zone target a few years down the road. Michael Coe is another guy that had great value at the point where they took him. He is very raw, but has a lot of upside. Keyunta Dawson is nothing more than a deep backup. He'll struggle to make the roster. Overall, it was a decent draft for the Colts. They clearly love their Ohio State Buckeyes (the also signed undrafted free agent Antonio Smith), but I think each one of the Buckeyes will fit right into their system and be a contributor.

2006 NFL Draft:
30. Joseph Addai RB LSU
62. Tim Jennings CBGeorgia
94. Freddie Keiaho ILB San Diego State
162. Michael Toudouze OT TCU
199. Charlie Johnson OT Oklahoma State
207. Antoine Bethea S Howard
238. TJ Rushing CB Stanford
2006 Analysis:
The Colts drafts have been all over the place over the past few years. I like the pick of Joseph Addai I had LenDale White ranked higher, but Addai will do a much better job in the Colts system than White would have. Jennings and Keiaho are both drastically overrated players, and I was surprised to hear both of their names called on the first day. I like Antoine Bethea, and he has a real chance to develop into a 6th round steal for the Colts. T.J Rushing may have an impact as a return man. I thought there were better linemen available to Colts than Toudouze and Johnson, but at least they added the depth they need.
