Patrick Robinson CB Florida State #21

Ht: 5'11
Wt: 190

Strengths:
Elite speed; has the ability to run with any receiver. A good all-around athlete with decent ball skills. Stays low in his back pedal and has fluid hips. One of the few playmakers on a very poor Florida State defense the past two seasons.
Weaknesses:
Suspended for 4 games in 2008 for his role in Florida State's recent academic scandal. A non-factor against the run; poor tackling technique and effort. Hasn't fully lived up to potential.
Comments:
Robinson has the skills to be an elite player at the next level, but his career at Florida State was streaky. Its worth mentioning, however, that he was playing on a very poor defense and didn't have much help surrounding him. When placed into an NFL defense, its possible that his career will take off. Physically he has the skills you look for in a starting cornerback and, despite his inconsistencies, he's worth a 2nd-round pick.
